Fractured Harmony
My photography explores the idea of fractured perspectives - how we each see and interpret the world differently, yet remain connected through shared experiences. I chose Fractured Harmony, as it comes from this tension between individuality and interconnectedness. I don’t approach photography with a fixed subject or style; instead, I let images reveal themselves in the moment. Whether it’s storm clouds breaking across a horizon, an animal caught mid-motion, or a quiet city scene, I see myself as the vessel through which the image asks to be captured. My influences range from Leibniz’s philosophy of monads - where every perspective contains and reflects the whole - to everyday encounters that remind me of the beauty in overlooked or fleeting details. Through my lens, I want to capture both the harmony and dissonance of these moments. Each photograph is an invitation to pause, reflect, and notice what might otherwise be missed.
